Hails a Masters Degree from University of Gloucestershire, Cheltenham UK. Started as the pioneering executive producers at the MEASAT All Asia Broadcast Center Network Systems Malaysia. Sofia garnered numerous awards and pioneering affiliations with regional and international network of media and broadcasting industry for ten years before embarking on the global telecommunication industry with Jalur Lebar Nasional Malaysia (Malaysia’s Nasional Broadband Network). Sofia’s network expanded and enhanced exponentially, which elevated her professional horizon into the political arena and governance spectrum. Appointed as the Special Parliamentary Officer (N54) to the Minister In The Prime Ministers’ Office overseeing the portfolio of Parliament, Law, United Nations, Governance and Communication. Then advanced to the Ministry of Tourism and Culture. She spearheaded numerous major events and Tourism Malaysia’s first smart mobile application platform before soaring high and making headway into the corporate sector. Sofia won the prestigious award of Best Mobile Application Of The Year In 2015 For Malaysia’s Mobile Business Excellence Awards and won the Outstanding ASEAN Masters Class Award in 2016. Currently, she is the Group CEO of OPG Global Group and at the helm of several companies, spearheading spectrum of sectors in the corporate industry.
