YBHG. DATO’ SRI SURIANI BINTI DATO’ AHMAD SECRETARY GENERAL MINISTRY OF HEALTH, MALAYSIA Dato’ Sri Suriani started her professional career journey in BERNAMA, where she worked as Editorial Executive after she completed her degree in 1993. In 1994, she joined the public service as an Administrative and Diplomatic Officer at the Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (MAMPU) in the Prime Minister’s Department. She has extensive experience in international trade policy and negotiations, corporate planning and other various experience in the Government Ministries. Dato’ Sri Suriani is now the Secretary General of the Ministry of Health (MOH) Malaysia since September 5th 2024. Born in Perlis on July 25th 1968, Dato’ Sri Suriani graduated from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 1993 with Bachelor Degree in Communications (Honours). She then later completed her Master of Arts in Strategy and Diplomacy from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2006.
