Prof DrHaslinda binti Abdullah
Haslinda Abdullah is a Director at the Institute for Social Science Studies (IPSAS) and also a Professor at the Department of Social and Developmental Sciences, Faculty of Human Ecology, Universiti Putra Malaysia. She obtained her PhD from the Institute of Work, Health & Organisations (i-WHO), University of Nottingham, United Kingdom, specializing in Applied Psychology. Her research experience covers areas such as community psychology, well-being, mental health, youth, at-risk communities including workplace communities, and digital-related issues. She has led 20 research projects worth approximately RM2 million and has been a co-researcher in 30 other projects valued at RM8 million. She has also been actively involved in shaping youth policies in Malaysia. Recently, her research has focused on the mental health of young adult. In terms of publications, she has written extensively on topics related to her research. To date, she has 316 citations and an H-index of 8 on Scopus, and 1014 citations with an H-index of 14 on Google Scholar. She also serves as a member of the Editorial Board of the PERTANIKA Journal.
