Catherine Omondi is the Founding Chairperson of the TransPacific Africa Chamber of Commerce & Industry (TPACCI), the Chair of the Peace and Security Committee at TPACCI, and the G100 Kenya Country Chair for Philanthropy, Business, and Poverty Eradication. Catherine is also the CEO of Flendale Group. Previously, Catherine served as Vice President of the Asia Africa Chamber of Commerce & Industry Kenya Chapter and led strategic projects at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry, including launching international offices in Ethiopia, Azerbaijan, and Kurdistan. She has also played a pivotal role in positioning Al Jalila Foundation in Dubai and was instrumental in organising prestigious events such as the Nairobi City County EXPO 2020 and the COMESA Investment Forum 2011. With an entrepreneurial spirit, Catherine has founded and managed initiatives that bridge the gap between international markets, including facilitating the Architectural Association of Kenya’s participation in EXPO 2020 Dubai and founding programs aimed at promoting women and youth in business leadership. Catherine holds a Bachelor of Economics from Flinders University, Australia, and certifications in Project Management, Event Organization Management, Government & Governance, and Leadership Development. She is currently advancing her education in Leadership and Strategic Management. Recognised globally for her contributions, Catherine has received accolades from HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Thomson Reuters MENA for her exceptional leadership in the COMESA 2011 and GIES 2013 respectively. Beyond her professional engagements, Catherine is passionate about philanthropy, women empowerment, and sustainable development. She is actively involved in fostering meaningful change through her roles in TPACCI and G100.
